I love this application!!!! It has made my entire experience as an employee of IHG better....with this application installed on my phone I am able to make maintenance work request for a specific room while I am in the room cleaning it, which in turn is most often fixed BEFORE I am even finished cleaning the room! This allows the rooms to stay up to date with maintenance issues instead them being addressed the next day. I also like this application when I am working the front desk because I am able to track any extra add on's to guest rooms such as towels, roll-away beds and pillows. This is a great tool for hotels. The communication is second to none. As a manager I get alerts on my phone, there is also an app you can check which is easy to use. Guest messaging is also very helpful for guests request and other inquiries. I have worked with other systems throughout my 14 year career and HelloShift is most certainly above the rest. If you do not have it yet make sure to get it as it will help better you hotel and staffs' communication.

Helloshift is an excellent tool at helping staff coordinate various tasks that need to be done. It helps you organize your departments to ensure details are not lost in crossover. It also is effective at cross department coordination that eliminates the need for tedious and time consuming meetings. It's checklist feature is also extremely helpful for staff to stay organized by using the '@', you can tag different team members and entire departments! For more sensitive issues, the private channels are also very nice, especially if the topic is important and not time sensitive (for team members who are not there). The integrated text messaging, task maker, and review links are all extremely effective and user friendly features and help this product standout amongst other competitors. The service is clean and has tech support if you ever do have a question about functionality.
We use this platform for guests who are staying with us as well as potential guests over the web. I really like this service because it is a comfortable way to communicate with the guests who are currently staying with us so we can fulfill their needs and allows us to offer a contactless check-out. We have used HelloShift for a number of years now and it works flawlessly across several platforms and devices. It is easy to install on a smartphone and the portability is awesome. Our employees stay informed and responses are immediate. This software has eliminated our prior communication issues. We are now trying the 'text a guest' application and it is well received by our guests and has prevented problems down the line.
I like that you can tag people and marked items as read. I think that is a neat feature. The website allows for great communication to happen between all shifts and management. No spiral notebooks needed all the notes you can get can be put into helloshift. With this website every shift is able to have a smooth shift transition. To me personally that is a big deal. I have had to deal with spiral notebooks in the past and using messaging apps to communicate with staff members. However, when you use a spiral notebook, you only have access to your notes when you are at work. If you use a messaging app you are constantly being blown up with messages during your evenings off or even on off days / vacation days. With HelloShift that is no longer an issue. I can access HelloShift whenever it is convenient to me. I personally like to read all my notes in the morning before I get to work with a cup of coffee, but I also do not want to be bothered during my days off or when I am on vacation. HelloShift makes it convenient to stay in touch when it is convenient to you. That to me is a huge thumbs up! HelloShift can allow people to have a life away from work while also staying updated when it is convenient for them. It can not get much better than that in my experience I really like what HelloShift has to offer and I am confident that it can met any hotels/companies needs. We also use this program as an end of shift information pass down. We just post on the main feed what happened on our shift and any important info they might need and then all the other shifts are able to stay up to date on all of the happenings.

We have a hotel with 171 rooms so its great to be able to reach the staff so quickly and be able to communicate with them. -Its very helpful to be able to quickly look back at a guest issue and make sure that it has been addressed or not. If it has not been addressed i love that we can put an alert on the post to let them know its overdue.

This is the best Software to use for communication. It makes communication between departments easy and instant. I believe without HelloShift our communication level would plunge. I have never had an issue like not being able to connect or the site being down. Any company that genuinely cares about excellent customer service could benefit from HelloShift. It is also discreet. Not out in the open like a walkie talkie. No more code browns to Maintenance for everyone to hear. We tried another company and found HelloShift to be the best.

This is a very reliable source of communication. Even when things are forgotten after the shift i can always go in and add it later. Keeps everybody up to date and on track for the schedules. Because we are very busy, we needed a way to communicate quickly with all our departments whether it was a guest request, maintenance issue, or management announcements. HelloShift performs seamlessly and quickly with our communication needs. We found that HelloShift disseminated this info quickly and efficiently and helped improve guest recovery, guest relations and employee morale. Advice to others: If you are still using the 'Red Book' at the front desk, you are wasting time and no one will read your comments, because it is 'history'.
